As a first generation Peruvian American, Yassaira Torres is a local business owner of ‘Yasighra Arts’, a lifestyle brand diverged in travel, culture and self growth.
 
Her work is a reflection of her Queens-raised city grit and Peruvian roots. It is a cultivation of her BFA specialization in screen printing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and years of professional experience in retail, hospitality, and commercial textiles. Her professionalism and desire to embrace and support self empowerment are driving factors in every piece of work produced.
 
When she isn't traveling on her next adventure she works as a Tailor & Screen Printer in the tri-state area. With a studio located in New York City - Yassaira continues to pursue the business world of Commercial Printing & Textile Production.
